Pride Parade and Pride Eucharist – July 18

Join St. Paul’s Cathedral as we celebrate Pride with a joyful public witness of God’s inclusive love. Whether you are a longtime participant or joining us for the first time, we invite you to walk alongside fellow Episcopalians, friends, and neighbors in one of San Diego’s largest community celebrations.
Participants are encouraged to gather in the Cathedral’s 6th Avenue Courtyard at 8:00 a.m. Bring your Pride flags, streamers, signs, and plenty of enthusiasm as we make our way together to the parade staging area. For those who may need transportation, the beloved Pink Trolley will once again be available. Seating is limited, so please reserve your spot in advance.
For information about reserving a seat on the Pink Trolley, please contact Susan Jester at jesters@stpaulcathedral.org.
Before the parade begins, we will gather for a special Pride Eucharist at our staging location at approximately 9:00 a.m. This outdoor service offers an opportunity to center ourselves in prayer and thanksgiving before stepping into the public celebration. All are welcome to participate. For information about the Pride Eucharist at the staging area, please contact Brooks Mason at masonb@stpaulcathedral.org.
The San Diego Pride Parade begins at 10:00 a.m. Participants may either gather at the Cathedral and walk to the staging area together or meet us directly at the staging location. Final staging details and parade logistics will be shared in July as they become available.
After the parade concludes, all St. Paul’s Cathedral participants are invited back to the Cathedral for a festive BBQ lunch. This will be a chance to relax, share stories from the day, and continue celebrating the diverse and vibrant community that makes Pride such a meaningful event.
Come celebrate, pray, march, and share in the joy of being a community that proclaims God’s love for all people. We hope you’ll join us.
