When Jesus told his followers to go and “make disciples,” they knew what he had in mind because for 3 years, Jesus had shown them how to do it: by gathering together to learn His “Way of Love” in community- both in corporate worship gatherings and in the context of a small close-knit group of companions. Jesus’s “small group” of 12 people not only experienced personal transformation, but they went on to transform the world.
