On October 24 St. Peter’s Episcopal Church Del Mar will host, a presentation and community dinner featuring Dr. Gabriel Léger. “Facing Memory Loss Together” will be preceded by a light fellowship supper and dessert beginning at 5:30 pm. There is no cost to attend. Reservations will be accepted at: office@stpetersdelmar.net Dr. Léger specializes in Alzheimer’s Disease and related disorders. His expertise covers the diagnosis and treatment of multiple forms of dementia including, Lewy Bodies, Parkinson’s, and Primary Progressive Aphasia among others. At UC San Diego he is working to build and expand patient care by developing a new multidisciplinary memory disorders clinic. He directs clinical trials in Alzheimer’s and related disorders. He has completed fellowships at Northwestern University and movement disorders at McGill University. He was a member of the Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry fellowship program, at the Cleveland Clinic. Before that, he was an assistant professor at the University of Montreal Faculty of Medicine. He received his medical degree and completed his residency at McGill University, Quebec.
