Developing Your Congregation as Disciples of Jesus

Bishop Susan will lead us in a discussion of how we can develop our vestries, bishop’s committees, staff, lay ministers, and members as spiritual leaders and disciples of Jesus. Episcopalians need to encounter Jesus, grow in lifelong discipleship, and articulate the good news of Christ for themselves if they are to share that good news with others. We will talk about resources for discipleship growth that the diocese will provide in 2020, the Year of Discipleship, and we will invite clergy to share ideas and experiences with each other. Canon Christian Gillette, our new Canon for Evangelism and Discipleship, will be with us to share his thoughts as well. Lunch included, donations appreciated.
