Let us pray for mutual transformation, that our hearts and minds may be turned to partnership with God and one another, that we might be led to courageous action wherever God has placed us.

Let us pray that we may be defenders of the rights of all people, maintaining a special preference for the poor, the weak, and the marginalized, and promoting the development of all human beings.

Let us pray with thanksgiving for the Latin American spirit of grassroots reflection upon the gospel, for the Most Rev. Martin Barahona, Bishop of the Anglican/Episcopal Church of El Salvador, and for the mission of Foundation Cristosal.

Let us pray for all who offer themselves for the sake of the gospel, that with Monseñor Oscar Romero, and those who have gone unnamed, we may be inspired by a spirit of sacrifice to walk the narrow and dusty road that leads to life.
