Anglican Roman Catholic Day of Dialogue

ecumenism

Pouring water into a common bowl to symbolize our yearning for unity, the Rev. Eleanor Ellsworth, ecumenical and interreligious officer of the Episcopal Diocese of San Diego, and her counterpart in the Roman Catholic Diocese, Msgr. Dennis Mikulanis, vicar, conducted the annual service this year at the Roman Catholic Diocesan Pastoral Center.

On alternating years, the continuing conversation between the dioceses is held at St. Paul’s Cathedral. This year’s half-day seminar asked the question, should differences in moral theology divide our churches?
