Walkabout Week begins on Sunday, January 13. As we enter the last stage of the discernment process for the next bishop of San Diego, I want to encourage everyone in the diocese to read the biographical information available for each candidate on the diocesan website.
The bishop nominating committee and the standing committee have labored for more than a year to bring you these candidates. Please learn what you can, come and listen to the candidates’ presentations and answers to questions, and then have a conversation in your congregation about the gifts you believe are most needed in the fifth bishop of San Diego.
Pray for all involved in this process – the candidates and their families, the voting delegates, and all the people and congregations in the Episcopal Diocese of San Diego.
If you have any questions, please contact the Rev. Martha Anderson.
