Volunteering Opportunities

Day Chairs | The Episcopal Diocese of San Diego
The Episcopal Church Center in Ocean Beach is looking for day chairs to provide a welcoming environment to visitors and help maintain order and security in the ECC lobby. If you are interested, contact Jeff Green jgreen@edsd.org , 619-857-9577. Duties include:

• Greeting visitors to the Episcopal Church Center and answering inquiries
• Qualify visitors for admittance, provide gate access to qualified visitors and alert appropriate parties of their arrival
• Sort mail for ECC mail drop
• Return mail that has not been claimed for 90 days
• Dispense mail to mail clients at assigned times
• Assist in preparations for diocesan convention
• Perform other duties as assigned
