Diocesan Capital Campaign Kick-Off

At Diocesan Convention on Friday, February 21, we will launch the Build the Serving Church capital campaign to:

  1. provide clergy mentorships,
  2. fund loans and grants to congregations,
  3. invigorate ministries at the Episcopal Church Center and
  4. create a reliable income stream for vital, ongoing diocesan ministries.

A gathering open to all members of the diocese, Convention provides the best opportunity to celebrate the many volunteers who are already hard at work organizing this campaign, and bring everyone up-to date. While the campaign officially kicks off on February 21, the campaign leadership team has already raised a significant portion of our $2.5 million goal. We will announce the amount raised at the kick-off. This is not a fundraising event. We want everyone to join in the festivities; the cost of dinner has been covered by generous campaign donors, however, you must register online if you wish to attend: www.edsd.org/diocon2014. Seats are limited and they’re going fast. Register today for the kick-off dinner! +
