Back to School Bash
The Diocesan Service Coalition pulled off another successful event: the Back 2 School Bash. St. Mark’s, City Heights hosted the bash, which provided backpacks, school supplies, haircuts, shoes, professional portraits and a meal to refugee and low-income children. Heather Nunnery Smith coordinated the momentous effort.

- 215 pairs of shoes distributed
- 85 volunteers
- 45 haircuts given
- 27 families served
- 20 children & youth volunteers
- 14 churches donated
- 3 hair stylists
- 1 diocesan institution
