La Misa in English Celebrating Dia de los Muertos

La Misa in English is monthly event at St. John’s in Chula Vista. This month, we will celebrate Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) on Thursday, November 2nd at 6:00pm. Featuring an ofrenda (altar) where people may bring pictures and mementos of their deceased loved ones, a worship service with music, and a potluck dinner where all are invited to bring a favorite dish to share, this event is free and open to all!
