Cinema of Resistance: Feminism vs. Fundamentalism

Join us at 7pm on the second Friday of each month for these free, public screenings, followed by discussion. All are welcome.
This month we will screen the animated adaptation of a critically acclaimed biographical graphic novel about a young woman coming of age during the Islamic Revolution in Iran. Then our panel of experts will discuss with us the ongoing cultural struggle between feminism and religious fundamentalisms of all kinds.
