Temecula Car Show

More than a thousand car buffs visited the First Sweetheart Car Show at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church in Temecula on Saturday, February 9. About 75 classic cars, trucks and motorcycles entered the show. Entries included antique roadsters from the 1920s and 30s, cruisers from the 50s and 60s, and muscle cars from the 70s. Visitors toured the church, and browsed a selection of collectibles from the St. Thomas Thrift Shop. They also enjoyed music from Sounds Divine, and goodies from a church bake sale. The Sweetheart Car Show raised awareness of St. Thomas in the community, and funds for the church. Another show is planned for next year. +
