Film screening: Run, Hide, Fight: Growing up under the Gun

Gun violence is the leading cause of death for American children and teens. “Run, Hide, Fight: Growing Up Under the Gun” is a 30-minute documentary about how gun violence affects young Americans, from PBS News Student Reporting Labs in collaboration with 14 student journalists from San Diego and five U.S. cities. The documentary profiles how the same young people that have survived these traumatic events are leading the fight for a safer future.

Join members of the congregation and community to watch this free 30-minute documentary as a group about how gun violence affects young Americans, and participate in a discussion about the film and gun violence in our communities and ideas or solutions for addressing it. The screening is on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at 6:30-8:00 at St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church, Poway, CA 92064. The screening is in-person only, and free of charge with no registration required.
