Good Sam Builds a Miracle

A group of about 40 people from Good Samaritan, University City, traveled to Tijuana, Mexico to build a home for a family in need. Working with Build A Miracle (BAM), they spent three days shoveling rocks, mixing concrete, installing insulation, and painting walls. The adventurous group also found time to tour, talk, eat churros and play. The Rev. Christopher Chase blessed the home, and the grateful family could not stop smiling and saying “gracias.” The group plans to build another home in 2015.
