Food Bank Volunteers
Dear Nonprofit Partners,
Thank you for your ongoing efforts to keep your food distributions open during this difficult time. We are working hard to keep up with your food requests and appreciate some of you taking the extra step to open additional days/hours in order to help keep people at a 6 ft. social distance. Drive-thru distributions are still highly recommended and are working really well throughout the county. If your distribution is closed, and you have not notified us, please let us know ASAP so that we do not send clients to your site. We are updating 211 daily.
The purpose of my email is to request if any of you are in need of volunteers? The Food Bank has been pushing for more volunteers via the media and we are extending that service to all of you. If you have a need for volunteers please let me know ASAP. The County of Emergency Services is planning to do a press conference at 2:30pm today letting the community know where they can volunteer. I’d love to have a list ready to go to share with folks who reach out to us.
