VBS 2021
July 11 – August 8
Sundays at 3pm
Diocesan YouTube channel
20-30 minute videos
Then keep the conversation going during Sunday dinner
Alleluia, Christ is risen!
As we continue to keep the faith while keeping safe, we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. The most important lesson that we learned through this past year is that we are better together.
So… we’re back with another video series for this summer. After the wild success of VBS last summer, we produced videos for Christmas, Epiphany, and an Easter with great response and support. They’re easy to find on YouTube.
Vacation Bible School will be a time to grow in Jesus’ love through over five weeks beginning July 11. Each Sunday at 3pm, a new 20-30 minute episode will premiere on YouTube to watch as a family or with your church family. Featuring leaders from across our diocesan family we’ll use Treasured from Group Publishing, as a springboard to explore Jesus’ love thorough stories, songs, scripture, and more. We’re excited to continue to unwrap God’s future together and look forward to an exciting summer of learning about Jesus’ love for us.

How it Works
During this unprecedented season of prevention, many members of our diocesan family have made collaborative steps toward producing VBS for our congregations and other ecumenical partnerrs. We’ll explore Jesus’ role in our lives through pre-produced videos and songs, locally produced skits, scripture, and prayers led by church leaders from across our diocese. Starting July 11th, these 20-30 minute videos will premiere each Sunday afternoon at 3pm, and could be a great opportunity for our families to explore faith, together, then continue the conversation during dinner that night.
No Registration Required
This video series is available for anyone who wants it. Premiering weekly on the diocesan YouTube channel or Facebook page at 3pm each Sunday afternoon, we’ll gather to create community as we continue to learn about Jesus’ presence in our lives.
Crowdsourced Ministry
Using this curriculum, we’ll enjoy professionally produced videos with stories and songs then bring it local for our own take on the topics. Each segment in the program will have opportunities for volunteers to record videos for each segment during the episode; Welcome then Opening Prayer, Lesson from Scripture, Skits, a Science Activity (following provided lessons), and Wrap up with Closing Prayer.
