Viva Vida Joven! And Viva Christ Episcopal Church, Coronado! You are invited to join us for a festive dinner, drinks, and music on Saturday, June 8, 5 PM, in the church courtyard. Bring a big appetite, and bring your big hearts! Dinner tickets are $25 per person. Tickets are available for purchase in the button below.
Proceeds will benefit the orphaned and migrant children being served through the Vida Joven Foundation. This organization exists to love, protect, and educate orphaned and migrant children in Tijuana and Ensenada, Mexico. Vida Joven is a ministry of our Episcopal Diocese and is a longtime friend and outreach partner of Christ Church.
There are currently 87 children in the orphanages. This could grow to 100 by the end of the year. The average total cost of meals to support 87 children is approximately $3,000 per month. With the proceeds from the dinner and your donation, we have set a goal to support two months’ worth of meals . . . $6,000! Beth Beall, Executive Director of the Vida Joven Foundation, will join us at the dinner. Beth will preach at both services on Sunday, June 9th. She will also lead our forum that morning. Come and hear about some of the amazing children whose lives you are changing through this ministry.
