Come learn how our churches can comply with the new California state requirements to provide sexual harassment prevention training to all employees before January 1, 2020. These courses were developed by Praesidum who developed and manages our Safeguarding God’s People program. There are two versions: one for Preventing Sexual Harassment for Employees in California and one for Sexual Harassment Training for Supervisory Employees in California. Each course is one hour in length. The two courses are designed to work together, and supervisors are expected to take both in order to meet the 2 hour requirement. They cover all elements required by the new law.
We will also roll out our new preschool employee handbook template designed to be consistent with diocesan compensation and benefits policies.
Remaining time will be spent on going deeper into hiring, termination, safety, training and performance management practices.
