Agape at San Diego State University and UC San Diego
Agape San Diego is an open and inclusive Christian community for all on campus with students, faculty, and staff of San Diego State University and UCSD. We provide students with space to listen and share with Free Pizza on the Campus Green each Wednesday as well as supporting friendship in an open community of trust. Agape offers hospitality, worship, spiritual growth, support for vocational discernment, leadership development, community service, recreation, small groups, retreats, and cross-cultural immersion experiences to all interested students.

When he is not producing the popular Faith 2 Go podcast, he focuses on enriching the lives of SDSU students and faculty through a ministry of presence. The generous donors to the Courageous Love campaign made it possible for EDSD to launch a new ministry at CSUSM in the fall of 2024. This new campus ministry seeks to establish a Christian community of students rooted in the Episcopal tradition through worship, discipleship, and service.

Desteny is a Christian, a devoted wife, a daughter, and a big sister, and she brings a wealth of personal and academic experience to our community. As a first-generation college student majoring in Sociology at CSUSM, she is passionate about creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where individuals can experience safety, belonging, and the love of Jesus.
