DESCRIPTION:To attend the clergy walkabout day\,  RSVP by Sunday\, January 13 to Doria: adminasst@episcopalchurchtemecula.org\n\nTuesday\, January 15\, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.\nSt. Thomas of Canterbury\, 44651 Avenida de Missiones\, Temecula\, CA 92592 MAP\n\n\nA Letter from Andrew Green\nDear Friends\,\n\nThe upcoming clergy panel discussion on Tuesday\, January 15\, at St. Thomas\, Temecula\, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.\, will differ slightly from the other five Walkabout events.\n\nOur candidates will sit together as a panel. Each will make a brief introduction focused on their experience of clergy/bishop relationships and what each candidate believes our clergy need to know about them.\n\nNext\, the moderator will ask questions of the candidates that have been submitted by our clergy. You are invited to submit questions to rector@stpaulsps.org until Monday\, January 14 at 12 p.m.\n\nThe transition committee is suggesting questions from four different areas:\n\nThe candidate’s relationship with deacons\nThe candidate’s relationship with clergy in times of conflict\nThe candidate’s relationship with clergy as pastor and mentor\nThe candidate’s relationship with clergy in a changing church\n\nThese are not proscriptive\, but aspirational. We would like questions that invite candidates to offer their best as we discern together\, along with our lay delegates\, whom we believe God is calling to be the fifth bishop of San Diego.\n\nWe have some questions from clergy already and we need more. The transition committee will select the best questions to enhance our discernment. The most useful questions will allow our candidates to offer their best understanding of themselves and their ministries.
