This overnight event is a time for youth from all over the diocese to connect in worship\, play\, and fellowship. This year we will consider the people and places in our lives that point us to Jesus\, those that call us back when we are led astray\, and the ways all of these things lead us through Holy Week to the empty tomb. \nThe event includes games\, food\, small group work\, worship\, laughter\, a bounce house\, love\, friendship\, and more! SUMMARY:We Believe - EDSD Collaborative Confirmation
DESCRIPTION:This Fall\, the Diocese will be offering a youth collaborative confirmation program. Classes will be held both in person and online to help with flexibility\, increase engagement\, and create peer connection from youth all over the diocese together. Classes will be led by Leighton Jones in partnership with other diocesan youth leaders\, lay ministers\, and clergy. \n\nWho: Youth in grades 8-12\nWhat: A hybrid confirmation program using My Faith\, My Life\nWhere: Meetings will be in-person and on Zoom\, ensuring that we build connections while allowing flexibility for students.\nWhen: 8 sessions beginning with an in-person gathering & parent meeting on September 7th. Makeup sessions available\, if needed.\nOther requirements: Weekly reading and discussion questions\, one field trip\, and two journal prompts to be completed with the home congregation.\nCost: $30 This covers the cost of the book\, journal\, and a field trip! This class honors their value and continued dedication to leading and caring for our youngest parishioners- our kids!  \nIn this class\, 6th-12th graders will receive training from diocesan formation leaders and clergy.
