Nadia Bolz Weber\, author of two books with another due in January 2019. It’s also filled with pop culture references – meeting rooms are named for school yard games like dodgeball and keep-away – and we’re working to incorporate elements of that in our conference planning. \nIf you want to book now\, you can do it HERE. You also can book by calling the hotel at (303) 571.0300 and using the group code EPI. \nFees \nThe conference fee for members who register before Jan. 25\, 2019\, will be $375. After Jan. 25\, the fee goes up to $425. The early rate for non-members is $500. The optional pre-conference intensive day will be an additional $125. \nCancellation policy: The conference fee will be refunded in full if cancelled up to thirty days before conference\, and 50% if cancelled up to two weeks prior to conference. \n  \nRegister

SUMMARY:Vital Teams: Team Leadership Essentials
DESCRIPTION:How do you transform a group of individual\, committed parishioners into a vital team? \nThis is a challenge that congregational leaders face each time they assemble new vestries\, bishop’s committees\, or create a taskforce or committee. How do you get people to work well together? What sort of practices will help them make strategic decision rather than get lost in the weeds? How can vestry and bishop’s committee meetings be productive and lively rather than much-dreaded monthly events that go on and on? \nThe health and vitality of every congregation depends on the effectiveness and efficiency of its vestry and leadership teams. This Vital Teams training focuses on four critical aspects of strong teamwork: \n1) clarity around purpose \n2) strong relationships among team members \n3) improved meeting processes and \n4) a focus on results. \nIt is designed to provide participants with the training and tools to become vital teams. Led by Sandra Montes and Kjerstin Besser from the Episcopal Church Foundation.
