SUMMARY:Safeguarding God's People Training
DESCRIPTION:Our diocese has an ongoing commitment to creating a safe haven for everyone\, our diocese trains people in the prevention of misconduct and encourages all to report misconduct. All reported incidences are taken seriously and investigated thoroughly and confidentially. \nThis required training teaches you what misconduct is\, how to prevent it and how to report it should something occur. This in-person training is a rare opportunity; we encourage you to send as many people as possible\, especially those who may not have a reliable internet connection. St. Philip’s\, Lemon Grove has graciously opened this to other churches in the area.  The trainers are the Rev. Tom Wilson and the Rev. Cathey Dowdle. \nThe $25 fee covers instructors\, materials\, refreshments and lunch. You may pay online or pay later with a check.
