DESCRIPTION:Governance – Finance – Property\nSeptember 13\, 2025\nGood Samaritan Episcopal Church\n8:30 AM – 2:00 PM\n$25 \nJoin us on September 13\, 2025\, for Governance – Finance – Property\, a day dedicated to building and strengthening the foundations of our congregations. This is an opportunity for clergy and lay leaders to support the mission of the church by deepening their understanding of the infrastructure that supports it. There are two tracks being offered that day – Finance & Property. Finance begins with a conversation about Stewardship before transitioning to the important work of ensuring that your congregation’s culture aligns with the mission of the church. In the Property track\, we will dive into the property basics\, tackling regular and deferred maintenance\, seasonal checklists\, and best practices on issuing keys. The weighty conversation over balancing the need for mission aligned rentals with ensuring that the church has appropriate use of space to support ministry will be the second workshop. \nBeginning the day with shared worship in the beautiful Sanctuary at Good Samaritan\, we will root ourselves in prayer and prepare for a day of learning. Throughout the day\, there will be opportunities to connect with friends and colleagues from across the diocese\, deepening the relationships that support our shared ministry. We will close with a time of reflection\, centering God in all that we do and marking our commitment to serve with courage and love. \nGovernance – Finance – Property offers the chance to equip your congregation’s leadership team for ministry in your context. \nWe hope you will join us for this day of learning in community.
