DESCRIPTION:“All this is from God\, who reconciled us to himself through Christ\, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation.”  ~ II Corinthians 5:18 \nThis workshop will help you understand . . . \n\nThat conflict need not be bad\, but is an opportunity for growth.\nThe Biblical basis for conflict transformation.\nYour own style of responding to conflict.\nThe communication skills necessary to resolve conflict peacefully.\nStrategies for preventing destructive conflict in the church family.\nA model for working at congregational decision-making in a win-win manner.\n\nThe workshop is designed for: \n\nChurch leaders\, clergy\, lay leaders.\nAnyone interested in improving their ability to handle conflict effectively\, whether in the church\, the home\, the workplace\, or the community.\n\n  \nRichard Blackburn is executive director of Lombard Mennonite Peace Center (LMPC) in Lombard\, IL. Richard is a trainer and mediator\, with broad experience in serving as a consultant to conflicted churches.
