SUMMARY:Knowing Yourself Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Knowing Yourself: Ministry from a place of self-awareness– This new workshop premiered at Leadership Academy. Knowing Yourself is designed to equip individuals to better see their differences and divergences as strengths to be utilized in living into their unique calling as a part of the Body of Christ. Attendees will better understand their blind spots and name identities that no longer serve them while reclaiming aspects that are most authentic and beloved. Knowing Yourself utilizes the sociological concept of “social location” to expand the lens through which we see Christ in the world and each other. \nFacilitated by Rachel Ambasing and Charlette Preslar\, Knowing Yourself: Ministry from a place of self-awareness will enhance the ministry of both lay and ordained participants. Registration is open to a maximum of 30 people and will close promptly on April 8\, 2024\, at 9 PM\, or when it is full. *This training fulfills one of the requirements for lay licensing.
