DESCRIPTION:A fundraiser for the high school youth Mission Mexico trip this summer \nYou are invited to an evening of fun\, laughter\, and delicious food for a good cause! This summer the youth of our diocese will travel to the Diocese of Western Mexico\, our companion diocese\, for an opportunity to assist the Pame (indigenous) people and to run a children’s program in Guadalajara. The total expense of the trip is $600 per student. This fundraiser will help to ensure that all the youth can attend\, regardless of their family’s financial means. \nThe evening’s activities include barbecue selections from north and south of the border\, photo booths\, dancing and a silent auction. \nThe menu includes: \n\n36 hour Tri Tip\nApple Jicama Slaw\nVegan Baked Beans\nAdobo Grilled Vegetables\nCornbread\nBeer & Wine\n\n$50 per adult. $20 per child under 12. \nRegister

DESCRIPTION:Wash the feet of people who are experiencing homelessness\, and share the joy of providing a loving presence to people in need. At the Episcopal Church Center\, volunteers give away new shoes\, socks\, toiletry kits\, provide haircuts\, a hot meal\, a sack lunch to go\, prayer\, clothing\, dental check-ups\, pet check-up\, and referrals to social services. \nFootwashing events take place at the following locations this year: \n\nEpiscopal Church Center\, 2083 Sunset Cliffs Blvd: Worship\, 9 a.m. Footwashing and shoe giveaway\, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.\nSt. Mark’s\, 4227 Fairmount Ave.: 8:30 – 11:30 a.m. including Showers of Blessings\, and 12 – 1:30 p.m.\, footwashing\, shoe distribution\, blessing bags and lunch\n\nFor information about the St. Mark’s footwashing\, contact Jennifer Dickerson: jenniferd@stmarks-cityheights.org \n\n
