Holland is the canon to the ordinary for the Episcopal Diocese of San Diego. She has served in this capacity for the past two years\, and was chief of staff prior to that for two years. She is a deacon who studied and graduated from our local theological training program\, the School for Ministry (SFM). \nThe Rev. Canon Holland has led and strengthened the year-round stewardship culture at St. David’s\, San Diego ~ Clairemont and All Souls’\, San Diego ~ Point Loma. SUMMARY:HR Roundtable
DESCRIPTION:Come learn how our churches can comply with the new California state requirements to provide sexual harassment prevention training to all employees before January 1\, 2020.  These courses were developed by Praesidum who developed and manages our Safeguarding God’s People program.  There are two versions: one for Preventing Sexual Harassment for Employees in California and one for Sexual Harassment Training for Supervisory Employees in California.  Each course is one hour in length. The two courses are designed to work together\, and supervisors are expected to take both in order to meet the 2 hour requirement.  They cover all elements required by the new law. \nWe will also roll out our new preschool employee handbook template designed to be consistent with diocesan compensation and benefits policies. \nRemaining time will be spent on going deeper into hiring\, termination\, safety\, training  and performance management practices. \nClick the below to register for this event.\nRegister
