Each will make a brief introduction focused on their experience of clergy/bishop relationships and what each candidate believes our clergy need to know about them.\n\nNext\, the moderator will ask questions of the candidates that have been submitted by our clergy. You are invited to submit questions to rector@stpaulsps.org until Monday\, January 14 at 12 p.m.\n\nThe transition committee is suggesting questions from four different areas:\n\nThe candidate’s relationship with deacons\nThe candidate’s relationship with clergy in times of conflict\nThe candidate’s relationship with clergy as pastor and mentor\nThe candidate’s relationship with clergy in a changing church\n\nThese are not proscriptive\, but aspirational. On the day of the convention\, check-in opens at 8 a.m. and the Eucharist and business sessions begin at 9 a.m. Please be prompt. \nAttention Certified Delegates: There is no cost to attend the special electing convention. Pre-registration is required for planning purposes. Lunch is included. \nPlease Note: Space limitations in the St. Bartholomew’s sanctuary mean that seating for visitors is exceedingly limited.
