DESCRIPTION:I have heard their cry. I know their sufferings. Come\, now! I will send you. I will be with you.\nExodus 3: 1-12 \nThe burning bush is the symbol for the Season of Creation 2022. Today\, Creation cries out as forests crackle\, animals flee\, and people are forced to migrate due to the fires of injustice. In contrast\, the fire that called to Moses as he tended the flock on Mt. Horeb did not consume or destroy the bush. This flame of the Spirit revealed God’s presence. DESCRIPTION:Sharing God’s Good News\nSharing God’s Good News is a not-so-basic training designed to introduce a fresh\, humble\, effective and Episcopal approach to the spiritual practice of evangelism.  Attendees will also be sent a Participant Guide + Handouts that include a host of resources for sharing the Jesus Movement\, redefining evangelism\, organizing a revival\, sharing our stories\, walking the neighborhood\, improving hospitality\, and more. DESCRIPTION:Join us for our Restorative Justice Retreat. Camp Stevens is celebrating 70 years of impact and growth while looking toward the future! \nWe will learn\, listen\, love\, and start the process of healing across faiths\, generations\, identities\, cultures\, and beyond. Participants of all ages can choose from a variety of experiences from workshops and small group conversations to creative activities and personal reflection. \nJoin us for the whole weekend or come up for the day on Saturday for workshops\, fellowship\, meals\, and our keynote speaker. Childcare for 0-5 as well as children and youth programs will be provided. \nWho is Valarie Kaur?\nValarie Kaur is a renowned civil rights leader\, lawyer\, award-winning filmmaker\, educator\, innovator\, and best-selling author of See No Stranger. She leads the Revolutionary Love Project to reclaim love as a force for justice. Valarie Kaur will give her keynote address at 3:30pm on Saturday\, October 29.  Read See No Stranger on your own or join a Camp Stevens book club!
