DESCRIPTION:St. Philip’s is one of our pilot churches kicking off EDSD’s year-long tree planting project. Roll up your sleeves and join St. Philip’s in planting 13 new trees on their property! Bring heavy duty gloves\, close toed shoes\, and water! \nSpecial thanks to Tree San Diego who will provide arborist expertise\, trees\, tools\, and materials. Tree San Diego serves as St. Philip’s main project partner. We are grateful for additional project partners including the Climate Action Campaign\, Plant With Purpose\, Interfaith Coalition for Earth Justice\, Kate Sessions Commitment\, the Catholic Diocese of San Diego\, Coastal Roots Farm and Council Member Joe LaCava’s office.
