DESCRIPTION:Mission Mexico: a mission trip for high school youth \nMission Mexico 2019 Flyer \nAges 15 – 18  \n*Passport required \nExperience a new culture while helping to transform a community! This summer’s diocesan youth mission trip will be with the Diocese of Western Mexico. During the nine days that we are in Mexico we will have the opportunity to complete several construction projects aiding the Pame\, an indigenous people living in the mountains outside of San Luis Potosi. We will also run a children’s program in Guadalajara with the youth of the diocese of Western Mexico. This will be a deeply cultural and transforming trip. We are being hosted by Bishop Gomez Osnaya and he will travel with us the entire time. Make no mistake though\, this is a service trip. Our goal will be to come home sweaty\, dirty\, and tired\, with hearts full of love for the work we have done and the people we have served. \nApplication opens on January 29\nAnd closes on February 14 \nRequirements to apply: \n\nyouth completed application\, apply HERE\nyouth leader/rector completed nomination form\, complete HERE\npay the $50 application fee by clicking the blue register icon here\, Register\n\nTotal cost of trip is $600\n20 spots available \nFundraising will be planned after the delegation is selected.

She is a deacon who studied and graduated from our local theological training program\, the School for Ministry (SFM). \nThe Rev. Canon Holland has led and strengthened the year-round stewardship culture at St. David’s\, San Diego ~ Clairemont and All Souls’\, San Diego ~ Point Loma.
