You are invited to join this opportunity for difficult but respectful and transformative dialogue in a safe space. \nRegister Here\nSacred Ground is the Episcopal Church’s film & reading based dialogue series on race\, racism & faith. “Circles” (i.e.\, small discussion groups of 6-12 people) provide the opportunity for difficult but respectful and transformative dialogue. \nA new Sacred Ground circle (via Zoom)\, starts on Wednesday\, October 22\, 2025\, 3-5 pm. The circle will meet every two weeks—same day & same time—for 12 sessions: Oct 22\, Nov 5 & 19\, Dec 3 & 17\, Jan 7 & 21\, Feb 4 & 18\, Mar 4 & 18\, Apr 1. The facilitators are the Rev. Each year Convention offers the opportunity for our diocese to gather for business\, fellowship\, and worship. A vibrant youth presence is an integral part of that day! Highlights of the day will include fellowship\, games\, a thoughtful service project\, craft\, and delicious food. Youth Leadership Council delegates will lead this fun program! \nThis year’s diocesan youth ministry theme is PROCLAIM. DESCRIPTION:Gun violence is the leading cause of death for American children and teens. “Run\, Hide\, Fight: Growing Up Under the Gun” is a new 30-minute documentary about how gun violence affects young Americans\, from PBS News Student Reporting Labs in collaboration with 14 student journalists from six U.S. cities: San Diego\, Philadelphia\, Oakland\, Washington D.C.\, Nashville\, and East Lansing\, Michigan. The documentary profiles how the same young people that have survived these traumatic events are leading the fight for a safer future. \nJoin members of the congregation and community to see this new 30-minute documentary about how gun violence affects young Americans\, and participate in a discussion about the film and gun violence in our communities and ideas or solutions for addressing it. \nRegister Here
