Keynote
We are delighted to welcome as our keynote speaker noted author and scholar Diana Butler Bass. She holds a Ph.D. in religious studies from Duke University and is the author of 10 books, includingGrounded: Finding God in the World—A Spiritual Revolution (2015) and the widely influentialChristianity After Religion: The End of Church and the Birth of a New Spiritual Awakening (2012). Her newest book, Grateful—The Transformative Power of Giving Thanks, will be published on April 3.
Chaplain
Our conference chaplain this year is the Rev. Cathy Tyndall Boyd, rector of St. Martin’s Episcopal Church in Williamsburg, Va. Before her call to the priesthood, Cathy was a member of Episcopal Communicators and winner of multiple Polly Bond Awards. She brings her experience, wit, wisdom, compassion (and guitar playing) to our time together at Kanuga.
