The 2022 Missional Congregational and Property Grants are now available.
Both Missional Congregational and Property Grants are available.
The 2022 Missional Congregational Grants are focused on the following priorities, laid out in the Strategic Plan: Evangelism, Discipleship, and Church Growth; Leadership and Congregational Development; Service and Advocacy; Stewardship.
There will be two grant cycles this year, with the additional cycle occurring in late summer. The amount available for this first cycle is $26,000 to be approved and awarded in March 2022. Applications are due January 17, 2022.
Property grants are available to Missions and Action Plan Parishes throughout the year. The form for submitting a request is found here. Priority is given to those projects that have previously been identified as priority one issues by the Property Committee, but other projects are encouraged to apply. The Property Committee and Diocesan staff are always open to discussing your property needs. This assists us with long-term budget planning.
Missional Congregational applications are due by January 17, 2022.
Property Grants will be taken into consideration throughout 2022.
If you have questions, please contact the Rev. Canon Gwynn Lynch at firstname.lastname@example.org.
This year, Bishop Susan will be focusing her visitations on the theme of Revival! We will be praying for a renewal of the Holy Spirit within your congregation, helping you reach out to neighbors in your community as our churches emerge from the pandemic, and preparing for the Good News Festival with Bishop Curry, scheduled for Dec. 9-10, 2022 at the Town & Country in San Diego. Therefore, Bishop Susan’s visitations will include some special elements, including testimony, artwork, and personal prayer, that we ask you to prepare for in advance. If the advance preparation involves some cost, you are invited to apply for a Revival Grant of $500 by clicking here. We look forward to being with you and sharing in what the Holy Spirit is doing in your congregation!
